About
The goal of this project is to provide the broader process engineering community with a valuable and relevant resource on chemical process design methods and case studies. The project is spearheaded by the instructor, Fengqi You, along with the TAs and students from the "CHEM_ENG 352: Chemical Engineering Design Projects" course at Northwestern University. The inception of this resource took place in Winter 2014, and it was further developed until 2016 with the contribution of subsequent student cohorts.
Articles on this page are authored by teams comprising 3-4 senior chemical engineering students. These articles are then reviewed by the course instructor and the TAs. In this arrangement, the instructor and TAs serve as managing editors, steering the overall direction of the content and recommending references. Unlike in other courses, students here play a pivotal role in their learning journey. They determine the most pertinent content within their assigned sections and choose the best way to present it.
